Plans include the construction of a new cooperage in Morehead, KY as well as the expansion and modernization of current cooperages in Missouri and Kentucky.

Tonnellerie Tremeaux is pleased to announce construction of a custom atelier designed to honor artisanal tradition and create an aspirational environment for skilled craftsmen. Once complete, Tonnellerie Tremeaux will move its barrel production from the current site to the new cooperage, still nestled in the heart of Beaune.
Oak is an excellent choice for crafting spirits barrels. Why? It contributes a wide variety of desirable flavors, it is ring porous allowing the oak extractives to be more accessible, and oak is liquid tight when quartersawn (American oak) or split along the grain (French/European oak).
