Kentucky Cooperage recently donated $2,500 to Honor Flight Network for veterans in American Legion Post #49. Sixteen of the legion members qualify for an Honor Flight to Washington, D.C. to visit the memorials established for them in 2004.

Independent Stave Company (ISCO), has announced plans to expand cooperage operations in the United States to increase production of high-quality barrels for the spirits industry. Plans include the construction of a new cooperage in Morehead, KY as well as the expansion and modernization of current cooperages in Missouri and Kentucky.
